Red Ball

Red Ball Rolls Into a Festive Platforming Challenge

Red Ball is a side-scrolling platform game that sends its round hero across winter-themed obstacle courses. Each stage mixes rolling movement with precisely timed jumps, asking you to cross platforms without crashing into hazards. The Christmas edition features 30 levels, with coins to collect and up to three stars available for strong performances. Star results depend on factors such as collected coins and the lives you preserve, giving careful players a reason to replay completed stages. The colourful setting feels light-hearted, but later obstacles can punish anyone who builds too much speed.

Momentum Makes Every Jump Matter

Because the hero rolls instead of walking, stopping exactly where you want can be difficult. Build enough speed to cross a wide gap, but ease off before narrow ledges or rows of spikes. A short correction in the opposite direction can help reduce momentum when the ball begins travelling too far.

Coins are worth collecting when the route is safe, yet surviving should come first. Touching harmful obstacles can cost both progress and collected coins, so a risky pickup may not always be the smart choice.

Chasing a Better Star Rating

Completing the level is only the first goal. Return to earlier stages once you understand the movement, then try cleaner routes that preserve lives and collect more coins. Familiarity makes difficult jumps far easier to judge.

PC Controls

Use the Left Arrow and Right Arrow keys to roll across the level. Press the Up Arrow to jump onto platforms or clear hazards. Tap movement keys near dangerous edges instead of holding them, as extra momentum can carry Red Ball into a trap.
