Hexbound

Hexbound Sends Palmer Through Five Corrupted Worlds

Hexbound is a dark fantasy first-person shooter starring Palmer, a demon hunter fighting to stop supernatural corruption from consuming humanity. Its retro-styled campaign crosses five distinct worlds: haunted castles, frozen Antarctic facilities, ancient Egyptian ruins, abandoned laboratories, and Demonic Hell. Each area combines aggressive monsters and towering bosses with maze-like exploration, coloured keys, puzzles, and hidden passages. Guns and eight powerful spells let you adapt the loadout to different threats, while collected gold improves Palmer between battles.

Search Every Corridor Before Facing the Boss

Running straight towards the exit can leave valuable gear and upgrade resources behind. Check side rooms, suspicious walls, and switches before entering the next major arena, because secret paths may hide gold caches or a stronger weapon. Coloured keys open deeper sections of each level, so remember locked routes and return once the matching key has been found.

Build a Hunter With Guns, Spells, and Permanent Perks

Hexbound supports more than one combat approach. Firearms handle direct pressure, spells expand Palmer's supernatural options, and permanent upgrades make later worlds more manageable.

  • Increase health when enemy groups end runs too quickly.
  • Upgrade mana to cast powerful spells more consistently.
  • Raise strength when ordinary monsters take too long to defeat.
  • Improve ammunition capacity before long levels or boss encounters.

Switch weapons when an enemy resists your current plan instead of spending every bullet on a poor matchup. Exploring thoroughly also makes these upgrades easier to afford.
