Sweeper Curling

Sweeper Curling Brings Ice-Rink Tactics to Every Shot

Sweeper Curling condenses the key ideas of curling into short matches built around direction, power, and stone placement. Players slide stones toward the circular house and try to finish closer to its centre than their opponent. Sweeping after release helps the moving stone retain speed, making every turn interactive until the stone stops. You can face a computer-controlled rival or compete with another player locally on the same device.

From Aim to Final Position

A turn begins by choosing the direction of the throw. You then stop the power indicator and release the stone down the ice. Maximum force is rarely the best answer because an overpowered shot can pass straight through the scoring area.

Sweeping Changes the Distance

Repeated sweeping inputs allow the stone to continue travelling. Sweep when a throw looks short, then stop once it has enough momentum to reach your intended position. This simple decision creates the game’s main skill test.

Keyboard Controls on PC:

  • Left and Right Arrow Keys: Adjust your aim.
  • Enter/OK: Confirm the direction and lock in the shot power.
  • Enter/OK repeatedly: Sweep while the stone is sliding.

Mouse input may also operate the menus and on-screen controls. These instructions match the controls reported by NAJOX.

Build a Smarter Curling Strategy

Aim for a controlled central placement with your early stones. Later throws can protect that position, block an opponent’s route, or knock a rival stone away from the button. Before attempting a collision, consider where both stones are likely to finish; a poorly judged hit may accidentally improve your opponent’s score.

Against the AI, repeat similar power settings to learn how far each shot travels. In two-player mode, watch your friend’s attempts and adjust your own technique. Sweeper Curling is approachable immediately, but consistent accuracy takes real practice.
