Strike Fighters Brings Modern Air Combat Straight to the Action
Strike Fighters puts you in control of modern combat jets without demanding hours of flight-school study. Missions move between close-range dogfights, air-to-ground strikes, and dangerous runs through surface-to-air defences. A random mission generator keeps objectives changing, while successful sorties award experience and credits for unlocking more advanced aircraft. The result sits between an accessible action game and a light combat-flight simulation, making target choice and missile awareness more important than cockpit procedure.
Read the Radar Before Chasing a Target
Winning begins with awareness rather than constant firing. Track the nearest threat, avoid turning your back on incoming missiles, and do not follow one enemy so far that you drift into another defence zone. In air-to-ground missions, line up the approach early so guided weapons have time to lock before you pass the target.
Mission Variety and Aircraft Progression
Different objectives reward different habits. Dogfights favour energy management and clean turns, while strike missions ask you to balance altitude, weapon range, and a safe exit route.
- Air-to-air sorties focus on intercepting and defeating hostile aircraft.
- Air-to-ground missions add vehicles, installations, and air-defence units.
- Credits and level progress open stronger aircraft for tougher assignments.
- Generated missions create fresh combinations of targets and threats.
Fire only when the target indicator confirms a useful angle. Wasting missiles early can leave you relying on guns against a difficult final opponent. After an attack, extend away from the danger area before turning back; circling directly over a defended target gives ground units repeated chances to fire.
PC Flight and Weapon Controls
- Mouse movement or the displayed steering control: Bank and guide the aircraft.
- Left Mouse Button: Select targets, weapons, and action buttons on screen.
- On-screen fire control: Launch the selected weapon when a target is locked.
The browser build presents the active flight and weapon inputs on screen, so check its prompts before the first sortie.
