How to play

You have a limited amount of time, so you have to get the basketball through the hoop before it closes. The greater the number of baskets you make before your allotted time runs out, the more rewards you will receive, and the more quickly you will be able to acquire new basketballs. Move your mouse to adjust the aiming guide, then click the left mouse button once to shoot. Check the ball’s projected path before committing to a shot. As the ball and basket change positions, you will need to adjust your aim again instead of repeating the same cursor placement. 

Difficulty Settings and Customization

Basketball Shooting Stars offers three difficulty settings, represented by one, two, or three basketball icons. Start with the lowest setting to practice aiming, then increase the difficulty when you feel comfortable. You can also change the aiming guide’s color and choose different backgrounds. Some backgrounds are available immediately, while others require coins earned by making successful shots.

Why Does the Ball Bounce Out of the Hoop?

An aiming guide that reaches the hoop does not guarantee a successful basket. The ball can strike the rim and bounce away. Adjust the trajectory so the ball approaches the opening from above, with enough room to drop through. After a miss, make a small correction and compare the result before changing your aim again.
