Battalion Commander 2 is a vertically scrolling action shooter where one soldier can quickly become a full fighting squad. Your troops fire automatically, leaving you to steer through bullet patterns, rescue captured allies, and collect rewards without losing the formation. New enemies, vehicles, structures, perks, and upgrades make later runs feel more tactical than the opening march. IriySoft's sequel rewards players who can balance aggressive target clearing with the safer movement needed to keep recruits alive.

Command the Formation, Not Just the Leader

The squad follows your movement, so a route that protects the commander may still drag trailing soldiers through danger. Make smooth changes and leave room around obstacles instead of snapping across the screen. Rescuing allies increases firepower, but a wider group also needs more space to dodge.

Prioritise threats and rescue timing

Destroy enemies that fill the screen with projectiles before chasing every coin. Free captured soldiers when the approach is clear, then guide the expanded formation into open space. Special skills are most valuable against dense enemy groups, vehicles, or moments when the normal firing pattern cannot create a safe route.

Controls

• Move the squad: Move the mouse pointer to lead the soldiers.
• Special skill: Click the skill button or press Space in builds that support the shortcut.
• Interface: Use the left mouse button for upgrades, missions, and menu choices.
• Pause: Press P when the hosted version enables the keyboard shortcut.
