Tabs 2.0 Puts Army Tactics into Unpredictable Battles
Tabs 2.0 lets you assemble red or blue armies and watch their fighters collide in physics-driven battles. Your main decisions happen before the clash, when you choose units and arrange them across your side of the field. Different weapons, abilities, and costs make army composition more important than simply filling every available space. Campaign challenges, sandbox battles, and a fighter editor provide different ways to experiment with that setup.
Gameplay: Deploy, Observe, and Rebuild Your Army
Choose a mode and map, then place a force that makes sense for the opposing lineup. Consider what each fighter contributes and how its position affects the opening encounter. Once the battle starts, watch where your formation succeeds and where it breaks down.
A defeat gives you something specific to investigate. Did one part of the army become isolated, or did you spend heavily on fighters that contributed little? Adjust the lineup before the next attempt, using what happened on the field to guide your choices.
Strategy Tips for Testing Formations
Change one important variable at a time. Keep the same units but alter their spacing, then compare the result with your previous attempt. After that, try replacing one unit type while keeping the new formation. This makes it easier to understand which decision actually helped.
Sandbox mode is a useful place to compare your own battle setups. The fighter editor adds custom unit creation, while certain modes also allow direct control of an individual fighter. For a clearer tactical test, begin with a small matchup before expanding to a crowded battlefield.
